Biography

2002–2017

Anna began playing the guitar at the age of ten under the guidance of Ludmila and Alois Menšík. Later she studied at the Conservatory of Brno in the class of prof. Vladislav Bláha and then with prof. Alvaro Pierri at the "Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst" in Vienna where she finished with honours in 2012. In 2007, she got a degree in musicology at the Masaryk University in Brno and in 2015 a Master in Instrument Pedagogy at the "Zürcher Hochschule der Künste" (Zurich) in the class of prof. Anders Miolin.

For the season 2011/2012, she was awarded a stipendium from "Stiftung Dr. Robert und Lina Thyll-Dürr".

Beside her soloist career, she is a member of Duo Papilio with the spainish baritone Marcos Zúñiga. Since 2012, Anna has been leading her class at the Conservatory in Bern, Switzerland.
